Answers to the most common questions from attorneys considering AOAA membership.
AOAA membership is limited and by invitation only, as stated in our founding mission. Attorneys interested in membership submit a formal membership inquiry. Each application is reviewed individually by AOAA leadership. If your application is approved and your territory is available, you will receive an invitation to join.
This process ensures that every member meets the professional standards of the organization and that territory exclusivity can be maintained.
AOAA membership is designed for plaintiff personal injury attorneys who are actively licensed in good standing, whose primary focus is PI cases, and who have the capacity to handle qualified leads as they are delivered. We also require that your target market territory be available at the time of application.
No. AAJ and TTLA are large membership organizations focused on community, continuing legal education, and legislative advocacy. AOAA does not provide CLE credits and does not engage in lobbying.
AOAA is built around case delivery and marketing infrastructure. Every element of membership is designed to put qualified PI cases in front of your firm through the Accident Avengers™ marketing system and LocalTrafficAccidents.com lead pipeline.
AOAA was founded by Dennis Mundy of Mundy & Associates PLLC in Tomball, Texas. Dennis built the Accident Avengers™ marketing system and LocalTrafficAccidents.com lead pipeline before opening the infrastructure to other attorneys through the Association. Mundy & Associates serves as the inaugural founding member of AOAA.
Territories are defined by metro area. Each member holds the exclusive rights to leads generated from their assigned market. Territory boundaries are established at the time of approval and documented in your membership agreement.
It means that no other AOAA member will receive leads from your territory while your membership is active. Leads generated by LTA and qualified by Accident Avengers™ in your market are delivered to your firm only — they are not shared, split, or auctioned to multiple attorneys.
You can check the Territory Map for a current overview of claimed and available markets. For a specific inquiry about your metro area, submit a membership inquiry and include your target market. We will confirm availability as part of the review process.
Currently, most U.S. markets remain available. Greater Houston, Texas is the only claimed territory at this time.
Multi-territory membership may be available for qualifying firms with the capacity to handle lead volume across multiple markets. This is addressed on a case-by-case basis during the membership inquiry process.
Leads originate through LocalTrafficAccidents.com, which captures accident victims at the point of need — before they have engaged legal representation. Accident Avengers™ then screens and verifies each lead. Only viable personal injury cases are advanced to the AOAA network and delivered to the member holding that territory.
AOAA focuses exclusively on plaintiff personal injury cases, primarily traffic accidents. The pipeline is built specifically around the accident-victim-to-attorney intake process. Cases outside that scope are not included in the lead delivery system.
No. Leads are delivered exclusively to the AOAA member holding the territory where the case originates. They are not shared with other attorneys, not listed on a marketplace, and not auctioned. Your territory exclusivity is what makes this possible.
Accident Avengers™ is the exclusive marketing company that serves AOAA member attorneys. It is a federally registered trademark (USPTO Reg. No. 7975142), registered October 7, 2025. Accident Avengers operates the advertising campaigns that drive accident victims to LocalTrafficAccidents.com, and manages the co-branded marketing materials used in member territories.
Your firm is marketed alongside the Accident Avengers™ brand in your territory. This means your firm name and identity appear in conjunction with a nationally recognized trademark and established advertising campaigns — without you managing the campaigns directly. The specifics of co-branding are outlined in your membership agreement.
The AOAA mission specifically calls on members to assist and cooperate with other Attorney Members in prosecuting their clients' claims. In practice, this means that cases originating outside a member's territory, or cases requiring specialized handling, are referred within the AOAA network rather than to outside attorneys.
Every referral recipient is a vetted, invitation-only AOAA member — not a cold directory result.
Yes. If a case originating from another member's territory is better handled by your firm — due to case type, location, or capacity — it may be referred to you through the network. Referral arrangements are governed by applicable state bar rules and your membership agreement.
Submit a membership inquiry and we will address your specific questions as part of the review process.
